For businesses, having a finely-tuned machine is crucial to achieving success. In over two decades in the U.S. Air Force, countless management courses, formal education, and everyday practices, I've learned that when the management and the support teams are working in concert with one another toward a common goal, and they compliment, instead of contradict each other's roles, the organization thrives.
Throughout my career, I have been on both sides of this equation. As a team member, I've tasted success, and been part of teams that have not been as successful. As a team manager, I've led previously under-performing teams from obscurity to national prominence. I have experience is in analyzing operations, identifying possible areas where adjustments can spur improvement. I specialize in employee and management development, highlighting effective methods of encouraging all the members of the team to put forth their best efforts.
One of the most important keys to a successful business, like almost everything else in life, is balance. What I do is use my experience and extensive knowledge of successful business management, marketing, and leadership development, to assist businesses in learning if that balance is off a bit, and preventing optimum performance. I employ effective evaluation techniques, knowledge, employee interviews, and metrics to measure the effectiveness of their current practices and procedures, and the culture of the organization. From there, I make suggestions for improvement, if any areas need improvement.

Looking for a guest speaker, or workshop facilitator for your upcoming conference, meeting, or training session? I may be able to help.
I enjoy speaking to people, and have conducted presentations for small and large groups, on a variety of topics. In over 2 decades of public speaking experience, both as an Air Force recruiter, and as a civilian, I can't count the number of audiences I've spoken to. Sharing information I've learned feels good, and I'm happy to do it, in hopes of helping just one person make positive adjustments to their life. One of my favorite sayings is written in my debut book, "Don't Gamble on Life Improvement... Until You Shift the Odds!": "Knowledge always comes from an outside entity, but behavior always originates in your own head."
An important key to learning is access to quality content. There are few things more satisfying than seeing someone achieve a goal, and knowing you had a role (whether minor or major) in helping them do it. I've given presentations on a variety of topics, but two of my favorites are challenging your mindset, and overcoming obstacles. With each presentation, I bring an enthusiastic and pleasant attitude, and incorporate relativity and realism. I also highly encourage audience participation in my presentations, and I believe interaction is the key to a message sticking.
One thing I've learned is there is unlimited value in positively transforming the way you think, and knowledge has the tendency to facilitate that! Perhaps one of the lessons I've learned through my experience may be able to help a person or two in your group. Contact me and let's discuss the details.
